I will be following guidelines issued by the government, NHS and my professional associations, Professional Reflexology and The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council regarding safe and hygienic practice and the use of any personal protective equipment.
My priority at this time is to keep my clients and myself as safe as possible and I have carried out a full risk assessment in line with the guidelines from my professional associations.
In order to achieve this I have taken measures in line with the Coronavirus act of 25th March 2020 and am duty bound to ask you to complete the client questionnaire/declaration below 24 hours before every appointment. The information you give will remain confidential unless legally bound to release it.

Covid-19 Client Questionnaire/Declaration
Availability for appointments will be reduced to enable enhanced cleaning of the room and equipment, plus time to ventilate the room thoroughly. Strict personal hygiene procedures will be followed, regular handwashing and/or sanitising. Throughout your appointment time I will be wearing a face mask and visor as per the guidelines. New client consultations will take place over the telephone or consultation form emailed to you for completion prior to your appointment. In addition the Covid-19 questionnaire should be completed and submitted 24 hours before your appointment.
Existing clients to complete the Covid-19 questionnaire only plus to inform me of any general health changes that may effect the treatment.
24 hours before appointment
Clients will be asked to complete the Covid-19 questionnaire and declaration form and submit it, you can find it here
On the day of appointment
Clients to attend on their own to reduce the risk of additional contacts between people. Clients should bring their own water and pen. Please wear a mask, you will be asked to sanitise your hands before your treatment. Clients to have their temperature taken by the therapist using a no-touch thermometer before starting treatment.
The entrance to the therapy room is separate from the house, on arrival please wait outside and I will show you to the room. Clients to call and cancel their session if they have a temperature or other symptoms of Covid-19, there will be no cancellation fee.
I will be observing social distancing measures wherever possible particularly during any consultation and when clients arrive and leave for appointments.
Payments for therapy sessions to be paid using the contactless card machine or can be paid in advance via bank transfer or paypal (please ask for details) I cannot accept cash or cheque.
In order to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 and to protect your health I may need to adapt any treatments.

I will be cancelling any treatments if an individual has Covid-19 or possible symptoms of Covid-19, if anyone in their household has Covid-19, if they have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms of Covid-19 in the past 14 days and if they have been contacted by NHS and been told to self-isolate.
I will not be able to treat any clients in the high risk category, for more information please see guidance from the NHS here
I am able to offer treatments in pregnancy as long as there are no serious underlying conditions and your Midwife/GP is in agreement. A consultation will be done prior to any treatment. You can find out more about pregnancy and Coronavirus here.
