This is the privacy notice of Simply Holistics.  In this document, “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to Simply Holistics.  Our policy complies with UK law accordingly implemented, including that required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  The law requires us to tell you about your rights and our obligations to you in regards to the processing and control of your personal data.  We do this now, by requesting that your read the information provided at knowyourprivacyrights.org

To enable us to offer an effective service we will collect personal information from you in the following ways:

  • Enquiries by telephone, online forms and via email
  • Consultation form
  • Treatment notes

Personal information may include, name, address, contact number, email address, health history and any other information you choose to disclose to us.  We use this information to respond to any queries and to enable us to provide an effective and personalised service to you.

Information sharing and disclosure

We will not pass your information to any third party unless we are requested to do so by the police, government authority or any legal process.

Access to your personal information

At any time, you may ask for a copy of or the removal of any information we hold about you.

Client records and retention period for personal data

  • Client consultation forms are stored securely in a locked filing cabinet at the premises of Simply Holistics.
  • Client records (consultation forms and treatment forms) are kept for 7 years from the date of the client’s last visit, or if the client is a child these will be kept until they turn 18 years of age.
  • Consultation forms and treatment forms are stored in paper format (none are stored digitally) and will be destroyed when they reached the above criteria

This website may, from time to time, provide links to other websites.  We have no control over such websites and are not responsible for the content of these websites.  This privacy policy does not extend to your use of such websites.  You are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other websites prior to using them.

We use third-party services for payment processing (paypal).  We will not store or collect your card details. Data security is of great importance to us and we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure data collected via this website.

We make every effort to protect your personal data.  However, transmission of information over the internet is not always secure and is done at your own risk.  We cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted by you to this website.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time as necessary.  The revised Policy Notice will take immediate effect once posted onto the website.  The terms that apply to you are those posted here on our website on the day you use our website.  We advise you to print a copy for your records.
